Michelle Bowman King

Michelle Bowman King is Associate Director of Communities at Learning Forward. In this role she serves as lead facilitator of the PD Redesign Community of Practice, a nationwide network of 22 school districts and charter management organizations committed to designing and implementing innovative professional development. She also provides support to school districts and state education agencies in the areas of designing and evaluating professional learning, and leadership development.

During her 24 years in Texas public education she served as an executive director of professional learning, a high school dean of instruction, mathematics curriculum director, and a middle school math teacher.
