Kay Cornell is a senior consultant with Learning Forward. Kay was a high school English and French teacher, crisis counselor, elementary principal and Assistant Superintendent of Instruction. Since leaving the district, she has served in under-performing schools as a Leadership Coach and Intervention Specialist. She facilitates teacher and administrator learning on multiple topics: Balanced Leadership, Cultural Proficiency, Higher Order Thinking Skills, School Improvement, and Learning Walks for Professional Learning and Collaboration. She has assisted several districts in the school improvement process and in raising student achievement.
