Dr. Donna Micheaux is president of Micheaux Educational Consulting and a Senior Consultant for Learning Forward. She has served students and public schools across the nation for over 30 years, and is a staunch advocate for ensuring quality learning experiences and opportunities for all children. Donna served as the Deputy Superintendent of the Pittsburgh Public Schools, and Chief of Schools Officer for the Dallas Independent School District.
Throughout her career in public education as a teacher, administrator, district leader, adjunct professor and research associate, she has focused on leadership development, improving teacher and principal practice and most importantly, student learning.
Donna has national experience working with school districts across the country as the Lead District Liaison for the Institute for Learning at the University of Pittsburgh and the National Director of Professional Development for New Leaders. She has held various K-12 positions and served on several boards and committees. She regularly presents at national conferences and has published articles on leadership.
